The studio living and dining room
Renovating the studio over the past year has been incredibly exciting, rewarding and yet very chaotic as well. We are more than happy to have created a place of calm and clarity that we can share now.
We love creating and working at the new studio and also to be able to share the space with guests from all over the world. Soon we will host our first workshop here, stay tuned for more details soon. But through the St. Oak website you can already book the space if you want to come for a holiday or plan your own workshop, retreat or a celebration. When we did the interior design for the studio we immediately had this image of placing two sofas across from each other in mind, as there is just so much open space. We love to see how our vision became reality and when we shared the first images of the new sofas on Instagram our inbox basically exploded. So today we want to share more images with you guys and also the brand and fabric choice of the sofas. What makes the space so special to me is the light. Depending on the time of the day you either have the most gorgeous sunlight that creates these beautiful shadows on the rough concrete floor, during the day it feels soft and bright and in the early evening hours you get this dreamy moody light. Perfect to unwind, light some candles and read a bit. Thanks to our lovely linen curtains the light is even more beautiful and they also add an overall warmth to the space.
The living room area leads into the open kitchen and dining room and yet it still feels cozy and separated, thanks to the huge rug that makes this sofa area feel like a little island of comfort in the spacious room. The dining room has a huge vintage table that we sourced in one of our favorite shops in Denmark and as candles are super important for us, to create a serene atmosphere, you will find many beautiful candle holders throughout the space. We hope you enjoy this little tour - for all product details just scroll down.
